The Catalyst ® Therapy Platform

Use the Catalyst ® Platform to Increase Client Engagement; Improve Client Outcomes; and Generate More Income!

Catalyst is the first-of-its-kind cloud-based therapy platform that not only enhances therapy practices, but transforms them. The Catalyst Therapy Platform offers an array of interactive clinical and coaching tools which increase client engagement and improve client outcomes.

These include:

  • 3 streamlined assessments (see list)
  • Our ChangeAgent interactive goal setting tool
  • A “between session” homework application (details);
  • A CBT re-framing tool (details);

How It Works

To enlist your clients to use the platform, you simply access the platform’s dashboard and prompt your clients via email to self-administer a screening or assigned task. Assigning a screening or task is extremely easy to do, and takes only a few mouse clicks. Clients can complete the screenings or tasks in the privacy of their own homes in advance of your initial face-to-face session with the client, or any session thereafter, at your discretion.

Once the client has completed the assigned screening or task, the results are then forwarded directly to you through the platform for follow-on discussion or intervention with the client as needed.

Better Client Outcomes; Increased Income Potential

Using Catalyst with your clients keeps them “tethered” to you in between sessions, and cultivates better client engagement. This, in turn, contributes to:

  • enhanced therapeutic alliance;
  • longer client retention;
  • higher number of sessions per client;
  • improved client outcomes; and
  • more income to you.

Because Catalyst increases client engagement and lengthens client retention, you can expect to see an increase in the average number of sessions per client. More sessions mean more income for you!

The potential to generate more sessions per client is not “sessions for sessions-sake”, but rather is attributable to the platform’s ability to accurately identify underlying issues, which might otherwise go undetected, and a greater degree of client engagement in their therapy work.

ChangeAgent

ChangeAgent is our web-based client goal setting tool that uses Motivational Interviewing to help clients identify motivations, strengths, and barriers for achieving stated goals. The ChangeAgent tool is ideal for practitioners who use “coaching” to help clients achieve meaningful behavior change.

Utilizing the ChangeAgent tool with your clients increases client engagement. Increased client engagement has the potential to increase client retention, resulting in a higher-than-average number of sessions, enhanced client outcomes, and more income for you.

“Between Session” Homework

Catalyst’s “between session” homework application allows you to send your clients homework assignments containing word docs or pdfs, website links, or audio and video embeds through the platform’s secure intranet. This eliminates the risk of sending assignments by regular email, which might otherwise violate HIPAA privacy rules. The application also allows you to send written instructions, assignment-related questions, or comments along with the assignments.

CBT Reframing Tool

Catalyst’s proprietary CBT Re-framing Tool enables clients to take their unhelpful thoughts and feelings and re-frame them into neutral or positive ones. All re-framing results can be shared with the practitioner for follow on discussion. This is an essential tool for teaching clients the basics and benefits of cognitive re-framing.

Self-Help Content

The Catalyst’s library contains an array of self-help content across a wide variety of topics. Content contained in the library can also be sent to clients via our “between session” homework application.

Couples’ Suite- The Couples’ Suite consists of the following:

Marital Assessment Survey- The Locke Wallace Marital Adjustment Test is a 15 item survey that assesses marital satisfaction.

Survey results are transmitted to the practitioner for follow on discussion and intervention, as needed.

Attachment Styles Survey- The Attachment Styles Survey allows each relationship partner to identify their own attachment style and to understand how their respective attachment styles impact the relationship

Couples are encouraged to print their results and bring them to therapy for follow on discussion with their therapist.

Couples’ Communicator- The Couples’ Communicator® is an interactive tool that promotes and facilitates effective couples’ communication.

The system consists of a variety of communication venues. Each venue functions as a private, two-way email program, enabling the sending and receiving of confidential electronic correspondence between spouse/partners. The system also enables couples to send copies of their correspondence to their therapist for monitoring purposes, if the therapist wishes to authorize this approach.

Each of the communication venues within the Couples’ Communicator® teaches couples to keep their communications within a prescribed structure that significantly reduces blame, criticism, defensiveness, conflict, resentment, and withdrawal, while fostering connection and intimacy, as well as respect for each other's "otherness".

Use of the Couples’ Communicator® is recommended if the couple has difficulty communicating, has frequent disagreements and arguments, or each is distant or withdrawn from the other.

If used consistently, the Couples’ Communicator® teaches couples a new method for communication that will not only be applicable in their everyday lives, but that will permanently strengthen and enhance their relationships.

MindSpa

MindSpa is an audio relaxation sanctuary offering hypnotherapy, guided imagery, ambient sound, and self-soothing exercises to calm the mind and revitalize the spirit.
Use Catalyst’s Outcome Tracker to prompt your therapy clients to complete one of three pre-installed “pre-post” counseling surveys that measure the degree of improvement between the commencement and completion of counseling.

Outcome Tracker uses a "pre-post" methodology that allows you to capture client screening data both prior to, and after, coaching or counseling intervention. The improvement delta is then automatically measured and stored. You can view all outcomes data on a client-specific basis by simply logging into your Catalyst account and clicking on your “Outcomes” link

Outcome Tracker comes equipped with the following pre-post screening surveys (you choose which survey to use):

*The Workplace Outcome Suite (WOS) was developed by Chestnut Global Partners, and has been made available to Radiant Behavioral for use in the Outcome Tracker platform with the permission of Chestnut Global Partners. For more information on the WOS, click here

Progress Notes

Catalyst’s Progress Notes application enables you to keep client notes. Each entry is time and date-stamped, and all entries are editable/deletable.

Video Conferencing

The video conferencing application is provided to Catalyst subscribers by SecureVideo. They allow 4 free sessions per month. Each session thereafter is billed at $4 per session (sessions can be any length). For details, and HIPAA security concerns, visit: www.securevideo.com

Public Access

The Public Access feature enables you to promote your unique sub-domain on the Catalyst platform to the public, and encourage members of the public to avail themselves of the platform’s many resources. This provides you with the opportunity to use Catalyst as a lead generation tool to help procure new clients. You can publish and promote links to your unique Catalyst sub-domain on your own website, or in any type of internet ad or print media
